Elvira

A breakup, a check-engine light, and a girl gang waiting in Vegas.

The brief
SPARQ AI is there for you in moments of need, with your car and beyond. AI has been villainized as soulless, the Terminator. These :75 films flip it: a tool that amplifies people's humanity and empathy, helping drivers claim their safety, their trust, and ultimately their freedom.

01 · The treatment

Reclamation. Elvira's ex was always the one who fixed her car, and now the check-engine light is his way back in. SPARQ turns a small fix into a big one: she doesn't need him for this either.

02 · Copy direction

  • Three people, three visceral life stages: reclamation, reinvention, returning to roots.
  • Tell it through phones and artifacts: texts, a box of his things, old trophies. Barely any spoken lines.
  • SPARQ never sells. It runs a diagnostic and says one human sentence.
  • Warm light, less shadow. AI as a friend in the passenger seat, not a robot.

03 · The rewrites

  1. Option ACut

SPARQ: "We detected no MAJOR problems, maybe a little tune-up and you're good as new!"

Reassuring, but it's about the car.

  2. Option BFinal pick

SPARQ: "You're looking good for a trip to Las Vegas!"

Picks up the girl gang's invite. Now it's about her.

04 · The final product

You're looking good for a trip to Las Vegas!

05 · The metric

  • Skeptics who were worried about AI taking over their car asking for product demos with genuine curiosity.

  • Audience consistently reference the spot to ask if that was within the “real” capabilities of our AI since it sounded so human.

03 · The script — sample

EXT. ALHAMBRA STREET — NIGHT

Car parked on the street.

PHONE — "GIRL GANG"

"Come to Vegas!" "We are waiting for you, don't cry alone, we'll cry with you!" "Yes girl, we got you!"

ARTIFACT

A box: his hat, hoodies, sentimental stuffed animals. She holds a piece of jewelry with initials.

PHONE

"El, just drive here, and we'll cover the rest."

DASH

The check engine light. He was always the one who fixed her car. Nostalgia. Indecision.

TEXT FROM HIM ♥

"I didn't mean to hurt you." "Can we try again…" "C'mon, at least let me fix your car."

SPARQ

She switches over and runs diagnostics. A loose gas cap. She fixes it herself.

SPARQ

"You're looking good for a trip to Las Vegas!"

END

She pulls their photo off the dash. Unapologetic independence. Drives off, the box left on the curb.

Screened inside the SPARQ home-show keynote, "Reverse."
