01 · The treatment

Doc Brown, a hundred years off course and stranded in the Barstow desert on his way to SEMA 2025. The DeLorean is dead, the future is at stake — and the only thing that can save it is a plug-in that reads a flux capacitor like a check-engine light. Past car, present show, future tech: one diagnostic across all three.

02 · Copy direction

  • Spoof with respect: fans should grin before the logo lands.
  • Doc does the panic. SPARQ stays calm, plain-spoken, and specific.
  • Every diagnostic is real SPARQ language — health score, open circuit, historical data — pointed at time-travel parts.

03 · The rewrites

  1. Cut A — The diagnosisCut

The flux capacitor is disconnected. Without proper function, accurate time travel may be limited.

Proves the core feature: a plain-English read of what's wrong.

  2. Cut B — The fixCut

Based on historical data, the majority of time travelers have found this issue related to the blue wire.

Adds SPARQ's crowd-sourced repair data — and gives Doc his 'That's it!'

  3. Cut C — The conversationFinal pick

It appears the flux capacitor does not have the required 1.21 gigawatts. Supplying Mr. Fusion with ample waste material will allow a proper energy transfer.

Doc just asks. SPARQ answers — the AI assistant, in one exchange.

04 · The final product

"Hey Doc, how can I help?" — SPARQ: technology of the past, present, and future.

05 · The metric

Product of the Year

Won at SEMA · Exhibitors dubbed the spoof's recall cultural genius

07 · The script — sample

EXT. BARSTOW DESERT — DAY

Smoke curls off a stalled DeLorean. DOC paces beside it.

DOC

Well, this is just perfect. The DeLorean has broken down! And I'm a hundred years away from the 2025 SEMA Auto Show — the very epicenter of vehicular innovation.

DOC

Electronic suspension, experimental drivetrain, and a quantum thermal charger that can FaceTime itself — and yet I'm stuck in Barstow during Prohibition.

DOC

If I don't make it, history will be deprived of this revolutionary future technology — capable of putting a mechanic right in your very… Great God!

SPARQ (V.O.)

Good morning, Doc. Your DeLorean has a health score of 60 out of 100.

DOC

Sixty? That's abysmal!

SPARQ (V.O.)

The flux capacitor is disconnected. Without proper function, accurate time travel may be limited.

SPARQ (V.O.)

If not fixed, this can lead to improper time travel, decreased power transfusion efficiency, and accidentally erasing your own existence.

SPARQ (V.O.)

An open circuit means one or more wires are disconnected. Based on historical data, the majority of time travelers have found this issue related to the blue wire being misconfigured.

DOC

That's it!
